Azacitidine

An antineoplastic cytidine analog C8H12N4O5 that is administered by subcutaneous injection in the treatment of myelodysplastic syndrome

Azacitidine improves symptoms, decreases the rate of transformation to leukemia and the need for transfusions, and probably improves survival.
